Schedule of Walks for the Spring 2020 Festival

Download the latest festival leaflet here.

Some walks are described as suitable for people without cars, and we have included at least one such walk on each day of the Festival. This means that anyone staying in Haltwhistle will be able to get to the start point of the walk without driving, either because it begins at the Market Place, or because a coach leaves from here for the start point, or the start point is easily accessible by train.

Click on any links in the walks table for further details or use the filter boxes below to refine the table to your selection

When you select a walk grade from the table filter the grade description will appear here.

Please read the detailed instructions for each walk, as well as the grade, to make sure you choose a walk to suit you. If walkers all book themselves on appropriate walks, it makes it easy for leaders to set a pace that suits each group. If you are unsure about a walk, please contact us to discuss this.
