From The Sill National Landscape Centre, we head west along another spectacular section of Hadrian’s Wall to its highest point at Whinshield Crags, before descending over open ground past a series of hill farms.  Our route into Haltwhistle along a steep sided, wooded burn, is so different to the Wall it’s hard to believe it’s part of the same walk.
