A big thank you to all our hard-working Volunteers.
Haltwhistle Walking Festival would not exist without our volunteer walk teams, who lead our Festival walks. Each team comprises a leader, a deputy and one or two backups depending on terrain. Each day we also have a nominated ‘car cover’. Working together they ensure that our walks are friendly, safe and well run. Feedback suggests that what people value most about our Festivals is the warmth of the welcome. and their excellent organisation.
