IT’S ALL OVER!
The 2022 Festival has come to an end and we reflect on the terrific time we had over the 10 days.

A great Festival doesn’t happen by chance. It needs a lot of support and we would like to gratefully acknowledge the contributions made by the following people:

• The Walk Team volunteers
• Elaine and her team at The Nook, Epiacum
• The ‘Church Ladies’ at Holy Cross Church, Haltwhistle
• Donna, Peter and the team at Jethro’s, Haltwhistle
• Gordon Beakes, Ian Jackson, Kevin Jones, Fiona Lander, Nick Leeming, Roger Morris and Gary Swinton
• The Comrades Club, Haltwhistle
• The local accommodation providers
• The local hostelries

A special mention regarding our transport providers, Baynes Travel. Despite coping with the sudden, tragic loss of their employer and friend, Nigel Baynes, the team still manged to look after us in their usual efficient and cheerful way.
Above all, we would like to thank every single one of our wonderful walkers who came from all over the UK to join us. Without such enthusiastic participants, there would be no Festival.

We hope you have enjoyed discovering more about this beautiful, unique place we call home. Enjoy the pictures of this year’s walks in our Gallery.
See you next year! Put the dates in your diary.
