Walk 20: Cambo Tea Walk (Special Interest Walk) Friday 28th April 2023
Please Note: Booking for this walk closes on Sunday 16th of April at 18:00
We start our walk at the National Trust car park in Scots Gap and from there, walk through farmland down to the River Wansbeck. We follow the path along the river, passing under the beautiful Wallington Bridge, and into the Wallington Estate. Trails through the west woods take us to Broom House Farm, from where we take a path across fields to Cambo, a National Trust village with some impressive buildings including a fine church. Tea will be served by Cambo WI in the village hall, formerly a school whose most famous pupil was Capability Brown. From Cambo, it is a short, easy walk back to the car park.
